Blue skies and sunshine (and sunglasses!)

You always know that a customer has nailed their location for their autumn GlamperRV adventure when they share with us an image of their sunglasses collection for their trip! They are certainly ready for blue skies and sunshine!

My inbox keeps pinging with scenic images of blue skies and sunshine (and sunglasss!) from customers currently touring Spain and Portugal.  Autumn has always been one of the best times for European adventures and these are most certainly proof.

I will be downloading their routes and highlights on their return however to whet your appetite, I wanted to share with you some recent route suggestions which I hope will inspire you to go and explore in style.

In April this year a customer set off on a two-week GlamperRV adventure to Western France and shared with us this stunning photo from their overnight spot by Soulac sur Mer (picture below) – it doesn’t get much better than parking right by the beach, does it?

Their trip down the west coast, took in the sailing port of Les Sables d’Olonne, cycling the charming routes of the Isle de Re and of course enjoying the vast white-sand beaches that stretch from Royan to Arachon.

With their fill of sea air they headed inland to explore the stunning historic monuments of the Loire Valley. This region is a haven for ‘les camping cars’, with plenty of fabulous spots to park up for the night. If you’re limited on time, focus on the stretch of river between Saumur and Tours. This route takes in the magnificent Chateau de Villandry, a place that truly stole our hearts when we stumbled across it last summer.
