A GlamperRV Cornish Adventure

The Ultimate Cornish Circuit

There is something about the British summer and Cornwall that simply go together. Perhaps it is the way the light hits the Atlantic, or the promise of a perfectly poured sundowner after a day on the coastal paths.

Our recent taste of summer sunshine has certainly got the enquiries flooding in, and with limited availability remaining across our fleet, we wanted to share some inspiration to help you secure your summer escape before the diary fills completely.

If you are dreaming of the ultimate Cornish Circuit this season, here are some fabulous, hand-picked stopovers perfectly suited to the GlamperRV lifestyle.

GlamperRV in Cornwall

1. The View at Watergate Bay

Best for: Striking vistas and beachside vibrance.
True to its name, this tranquil, boutique campsite offers fabulous, sweeping views and sits just half a mile from the iconic Watergate Bay.

  • On-site Luxury: The campsite features its own licensed, dog-friendly café, Sunshine at The View, serving wonderful local food.
  • The Beach: Watergate Bay boasts two miles of golden sand backed by steep cliffs. It is dog-friendly all year round and highly regarded as a haven for water sports. Watch the surfers and kite surfers tackle the Atlantic swell, or simply enjoy a sunset stroll.

2. Dennis Cove, Padstow
Best for: Culinary adventures and easy cycling.
Padstow remains a firm favourite for our GlamperRV community, blending easy road access with a world-class food scene.

  • The Setting: Pitching at Dennis Cove grants you unbeatable, elevated views across the Camel Estuary.
  • Out and About: The site is a leisurely stroll from the heart of Padstow—famed for Rick Stein’s iconic eateries—and sits directly on the Camel Trail, offering beautifully level, scenic cycling through an ever-changing landscape.

3. Trewethett Farm, Tintagel
Best for: Myth, legend, and dramatic geology.
Perched on the rugged North Coast near Tintagel, this Caravan and Motorhome Club site is hugely popular with our clients for its stunningly picturesque pitches that look right out to sea (picture above at sunset).

  • Explore on Foot: Sitting directly on the coastal path, you can walk west toward the dramatic ruins of Tintagel Castle and the bronze statue of King Arthur, or simply marvel at the spectacular rock formations right on your doorstep.

4. Heligan Campsite, St Ewe
Best for: Subtropical gardens and gourmet BBQs.
Moving over to the gentler climes of the South Coast, Heligan Campsite comes highly recommended by GlamperRV guests.

  • The Main Attraction: The site is within easy walking distance of the world-renowned Lost Gardens of Heligan.
  • The Amenities: Guests rave about the exceptionally modern facilities, the artisan charcoal made on-site, and the nearby Lobbs Farm Shop—perfect for stocking up the GlamperRV fridge with premium local steaks and charcuterie for an evening BBQ.
