GlamperRV is expanding and therefore we are looking for a full time Motorhome Technician. This is a full time, permanent position with flexible hours (40/week – will include some weekend work).

GlamperRV was established in September 2015 to provide discerning customers with a bespoke, fully self-sufficient motorhome that is the epitome of style, luxury and comfort. In a relatively short time GlamperRV has established itself as the motorhome hire of choice for an upmarket customer base who expects a high level of luxury and service.
In September 2016 GlamperRV launched a sales programme, providing these same high-end customers with the opportunity of owning their very own GlamperRV, tailored to their specification.
Having established a strong core business, GlamperRV is looking to employ a full-time motorhome technician to support the business as it moves on from start-up phase and looks to establish itself nationwide.
Candidate Profile
As a business operating in the luxury service sector GlamperRV is looking for a person who is passionate about delivering excellence – be this in DIY, customer service or presentation, they are equally important. Our business demands extraordinary high levels of attention to detail and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate this and has the following skills:
– Competent motorhome technician with a good understanding of vehicles and how they operate
– High level of DIY expertise
– Good personal presentation and face to face communication with a largely English-speaking audience
– Flexibility to work when is required to get the job done
– A Self-starter
– High level of attention to detail
As part of your role will involve driving GlamperRVs you must be aged over 23, have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years and be a confident and competent driver.
The Role
The variety of this role should keep the most experienced motorhome technician interested as it encompasses a wide assortment of tasks and has excellent opportunities for personal development as the business grows. The role will include the following areas:
GlamperRV Customisation
GlamperRV is based on a standard A-class motorhome which we then convert to bespoke a wide range of game changing elements.
Hire Fleet Vehicle Preparation
GlamperRV is a luxury motorhome hire business and as such all our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for checking that everything is in full working condition and making repairs where necessary. You will also be expected to manage sub-contractors.
Customer Management
You will be supporting the team as the principle contact between GlamperRV and our customers when they arrive for their GlamperRV self-drive hire adventure. It is therefore essential that you are a good communicator, have a knowledge of how motorhomes operate and an interest in travelling.
In addition to handovers and returns at our base, we would require this individual to deliver GlamperRV to clients across the south-east/Midlands region.
