What a summer we have had! This glorious weather has been a real treat for us at GlamperRV and our many customers who have been off exploring all corners of our beautiful country. Memories of sun soaked lazy days, outdoor eating and Prosecco corks popping will hopefully last long into the winter!
I have so enjoyed hearing many stories of fabulous adventures with customers reluctant to part with their GlamperRV and many already planning their trips for next year. Our 2019 bookings portal opens today so if you are planning a big trip, wanting to secure your luxury accommodation for a festival or sports event or planning a big birthday surprise for a loved one then I would encourage you to book early.
Whilst I have many great trip ideas to share with you over the coming months, for now I wanted to share a few snapshots of locations I would have loved to have sneaked along as a passenger!
1. Isle of Skye
How lucky were our Australian visitors as they headed to the Scottish Isles – the luxury of a GlamperRV to explore those remote locations in comfort alongside temperatures in the high 20’s and not a day of rain! How about this for an isolated wild camping spot!
2. British Grand Prix
A small army of GlamperRVs headed to Silverstone this year and quite rightly our customers were pretty smug as not only did they have the best looking campervan in the paddock but they also had the luxury of air conditioning!
3. Chatsworth House
The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s Derbyshire pad is one of the most stunning houses in the country and our GlamperRV customers managed to find a secret back door into the Estate through an adjacent campsite – genius!
4. Lake Annecy
I have had many customers raving about staying around Lake Annecy and how easy it is to go out on bikes and explore. It is definitely one on our family short list for next year – just need to work out if it’s a winter trip tied in with skiing or a warm weather adventure?
5. West Pentire, Cornwall
We may have read newspaper reports of overcrowding in Cornwall but when you manage to find an overnight spot such as this it is no wonder so many flock to the South West.
