Welcome to our new weekly Site Spotlight that I hope will inspire you over these dark winter months until we can go out exploring again. With so many of our own GlamperRV adventures starting with a really great campsite recommendation we wanted to take on the hard graft of searching for those idyllic spots and sharing them with you.
Our first ‘Site Spotlight Norfolk’ shines on the hugely popular Deepdale Camping. Located in the village of Burnham Deepdale by the sea in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, Deepdale Camping is a quiet friendly campsite with 85 pitches set in 6 well-maintained grassy paddocks. The super jumbo pitches are really quite something and put many new build gardens to shame!
Deepdale has its own café serving a great range of meals, a store selling local produce and a lovely local, The White Horse is a short walk away giving you plenty of on-site eating options.
If you don’t fancy moving from the site you can benefit from the Deepdale cycle hire to explore the coast or use the Coasthopper bus service that stops at the site and will drop you off along the coast.
There is plenty to keep you busy in Norfolk from visits the spectacular Holkham Hall to walks along the endless sandy beaches. To really get you in the mood I recommend listening to Lady Glenconner reading her book, Lady in Waiting. Having grown up at Holkham Hall her memories present a wonderful insight.
If you have your own site recommendations that you would like us to consider for a future Site Spotlight please do share them with us.
